// 0x01 ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS & ELIGIBILITY
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and TelcoSec ("TelcoSec", "we", "us", or "our") regarding your access to and use of telcosec.net, research portals, calculators, APIs, and associated web properties.
By accessing, browsing, interacting with, or executing code from our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease all access to the platform.
You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you access the platform on behalf of a corporation, government entity, or academic institution, you represent and warrant that you have full authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
// 0x02 PLATFORM SCOPE & DEFENSIVE RESEARCH MISSION
TelcoSec is an independent cybersecurity research initiative dedicated to advancing the defense and resilience of global telecommunications systems (2G, 3G, 4G LTE, 5G Non-Standalone, and 5G Standalone).
All documentation, interactive protocol parsers, signaling calculators, 3GPP exploration tools, Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges, and vulnerability disclosures published on this platform are provided strictly for educational, defensive engineering, and academic research purposes.
// 0x03 AUTHORIZED LAB TESTING & STRICT DUAL-USE DISCLAIMER
Telecommunications security research involves the study of complex signaling protocols (SS7, Diameter, GTP-C, HTTP/2 SBA) and radio frequency systems that possess dual-use characteristics.
You expressly agree that you will only execute, deploy, or test TelcoSec tools, proof-of-concept exploits, signaling scripts, or methodology guides within isolated laboratory environments (e.g., Faraday cages, RF-shielded enclosures, private virtualized testbeds) or on cellular network infrastructure where you possess explicit, prior, written authorization from the legitimate system owner.
// 0x04 PROHIBITED CONDUCT & CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROTECTION
You shall not, under any circumstances, engage in any of the following prohibited actions:
- Unauthorized Signaling Injection: Transmitting SS7 (MAP, CAP, ISUP), Diameter, or 5G SBA messages into live, commercial operator interconnects or global signaling exchanges without authorization.
- Emergency Services Interference: Any action that degrades, intercepts, blocks, or impairs emergency routing (e.g., E911, 112, eCall) or national critical telecommunications infrastructure.
- Unlicensed RF Airspace Transmission: Operating Software Defined Radios (SDR) or rogue base stations (IMSI catchers) over public cellular frequency bands without regulatory licensing and user consent.
- Malicious Exploitation & Fraud: Using research data to conduct SIM swap fraud, mobile identity theft, unauthorized subscriber geolocation tracking, or telecom billing bypass.
- Platform Attacks: Attempting to probe, scan, breach, DDoS, reverse engineer, or scrape the TelcoSec platform infrastructure.

// 0x05 USER ACCOUNTS, AUTHENTICATION & ACCESS
When creating an account or accessing restricted enterprise training nodes, you agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete credentials. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities occurring under your account. You must notify TelcoSec immediately at support@telco-sec.com upon detecting any unauthorized account access.
// 0x06 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & RESEARCH LICENSING
The design, code, graphics, architecture diagrams, vulnerability indices, and educational materials published on TelcoSec are protected by copyright, trademark, and international intellectual property laws.
- Educational & Citation Use: You may cite, reference, and quote excerpts of our research in academic papers, security advisories, and technical reports provided that proper attribution and canonical backlink credit are given to TelcoSec.
- Open Source Code: Software utilities released in our open repositories are governed by their respective open-source licenses (e.g., MIT, Apache 2.0, GPLv3).
- Proprietary Assets: Systematic scraping, wholesale republishing, or commercial redistribution of our full technical corpus without express written consent is strictly prohibited.
// 0x07 THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & SPONSORED DISCLOSURES
Our platform may display curated partner resources, sponsored nodes, or hyperlinks to third-party tools and platforms. All commercial or sponsored links are explicitly designated with appropriate link relationships (rel="noopener sponsored") in full compliance with Google Ads and Webmaster guidelines.
TelcoSec does not endorse, control, or assume liability for third-party products, external websites, or vendor security claims. Your interactions with third-party sites are governed solely by those parties' terms and privacy policies.
// 0x08 DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE PLATFORM, DOCUMENTATION, TOOLS, CALCULATORS, RESEARCH DATA, AND LAB ENVIRONMENTS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, TELCOSEC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, PROTOCOL COMPLIANCE, SYSTEM ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
// 0x09 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL TELCOSEC, ITS DIRECTORS, RESEARCHERS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, TELECOMMUNICATION OUTAGES, NETWORK DEGRADATION, CARRIER FINES, SYSTEM DOWNTIME, OR ANY LIABILITIES ARISING FROM THIRD-PARTY MISUSE OF RESEARCH DATA OR LAB SIMULATION TOOLS.
// 0x10 INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TelcoSec, its researchers, partners, and personnel against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, fines, expenses, and reasonable legal fees resulting from: (a) your access to or use of the platform; (b) your violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy; (c) your execution of tests against networks or devices without proper authorization; or (d) your infringement of any third-party rights.
// 0x11 SUSPENSION & TERMINATION
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the platform or any associated API keys immediately and without prior notice if we detect or reasonably suspect: (a) a breach of these Terms or our AUP; (b) unauthorized testing against third-party systems; (c) abusive traffic patterns; or (d) actions that jeopardize the legal or operational standing of TelcoSec.
// 0x12 GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to your use of the platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts of Lisbon, Portugal, and you irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
// 0x13 SEVERABILITY & ENTIRE AGREEMENT
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TelcoSec regarding platform use.
// 0x14 MODIFICATIONS & LEGAL INQUIRIES
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. We will indicate updates by revising the "LAST UPDATED" timestamp. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your binding agreement to the modifications.
